Birds in Cabo…

I was walking around one morning in Cabo…praising God that I had been blessed with the opportunity to see a place so beautiful and wonderful…when I came upon these bird-feet tracks.  I don’t know about you, but when I think of the poem Footsteps, I always picture people footsteps…walking with the saviour.  But on this morning, it struck me that God allows the birds of the land to see this beautiful beach in Cabo San Lucas every day of their lives!  Surely, if he cares enough to share this with them, he is thrilled to share it with me!  I am reminded of the verse in Matthew 6:25-26 today.  “For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?  “Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?”

So, today I am reminded of the birds on the beach…and the birds outside my window…that always seem to find a way.  Surely if he shows them the way, so, too, will he take care of me!
